Research Network & Academic / Research Contributors (Alphabetical)

This project benefited from collaboration within the Canadian Wood Construction Research Network (CWCRN) and contributions from 32 academic and research institutions in Canada and internationally. Their technical input, shared experience, and active engagement significantly enhanced the scope, and applicability of the database.

Several academic teams provided focused technical contributions to specific components of the database development. In particular, research groups at the University of Alberta, the University of Waterloo, and the University of British Columbia served as key contributors, offering targeted support that strengthened the technical depth and overall completeness of the database. A total of 29 consulting firms, manufacturers, and software companies contributed technical expertise, data, review feedback, and practical perspectives. Their engagement was critical in ensuring the relevance, and usability of the database for both research and professional practice.
